We met Alessia and Tommaso during a photoshoot together in June, which gave us the opportunity to get to know them better along with their beautiful child, exchange words, and break the ice. When the wedding day arrived, we already knew them, and this helped make them feel more comfortable in front of us and our cameras.
The location:
Palazzo Gondi is a genuine paradise in the heart of Florence, a historic residence that surprises from the moment you enter its splendid courtyard, with its majestic staircase, sumptuous halls, and panoramic terrace offering breathtaking views of Florence and its monuments. A pure beauty that surrounded the bride, groom, and their guests.
The bride prepared at the Palazzo, in the wonderful room with a breathtaking view of the Duomo, accompanied by her bridesmaids. Meanwhile, the groom was at home with his two witnesses. As is customary, Silvia followed Alessia, the bride, while Tommaso followed Tommaso, the groom. This allowed us to capture the moments of preparation for both, from laughter to toasts, and even tears of emotion before the start of the ceremony.
The bride wore a stunning dress, perfectly in harmony with the elegance and sophistication of the venue.
The wedding:
The ceremony took place in the Church of San Filippo Neri, a Baroque-style building from the 17th century in Piazza San Firenze, right in front of Palazzo Gondi, in the heart of Florence’s historic center.
Immediately after the ceremony, we spent an hour with the couple capturing the atmosphere and beauty during the photo shoot in the center of Florence, where they were enveloped in the warm light of a September afternoon.
Guests enjoyed a completely relaxed atmosphere during the aperitif on the wonderful terrace of the Palazzo, embracing all the surrounding beauty. The colors of the golden sunset, accompanied by the musical entertainment of a string trio, were simply magical, and the photographs we took perfectly reflect that moment.
The wedding dinner took place in the main hall with a U-shaped table, decorated with colorful and vibrant flowers. Ivory, antique pink, burgundy, and beige to brown were chosen for the bold floral centerpieces, both for the table and the church. Printed menus and placeholders enriched the dinner table setting, creating a refined and precise touch. All stationery materials were created to perfectly reflect the color palette chosen by the bride. Roberta of Alfresco Wedding worked hard to ensure everything was perfect, and so it was.
In conclusion, Alessia and Tommaso’s wedding was an unforgettable experience, a love dream transformed into an elegant wedding in Florence, framed by the beauty of Palazzo Gondi and the magic of a timeless city.
