Yeehooi and Johnny’s wedding at Borgo di Castelvecchio

Yeehooi and Johnny’s wedding was dreamy, enchanting and magical, and it all happened outdoors at Borgo di Castelvecchio. With our cameras we captured the most important moments of these two days, creating a true reportage of their celebration.

Pizza and gelato for the welcome party

The first evening was an informal dinner in the main courtyard, with pizza and gelato, the quintessential Italian duo. Smiling guests enjoyed a delightful evening outdoors in this beautiful village.

A ceremony by the old silos

The garden overlooking the Val d’Orcia became the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, with the old silos as an unconventional altar framed by an arch of pink flowers. Johnny walked down the aisle with his mother and eagerly waited, while Yeehooi made an original entrance on a golf cart. The ceremony, officiated by a friend, was full of intimacy and humor, just like the couple.

Afterwards, an Italian aperitif took place in a picturesque corner of the Borgo, with stone walls and a panoramic view of the hills. In the beautiful light of the garden we captured the laughter and joy of the guests over Italian appetizers. A highlight was our photo booth, which added an extra dose of fun.

Dinner in the square and a night of dancing

After plenty of Spritz and high spirits, the party moved to the main square for the reception. Dinner was served on a long imperial table adorned with beautiful chandeliers, Toile de Jouy plates and a fabulous centerpiece of seasonal fruits and flowers. The candlelight, the chandeliers and the speeches from the witnesses created a unique atmosphere to photograph. The grand finale of the meal, a Millefoglie show cooking, opened the festive toasts.

The first dance, made even more special by a surprise serenade from a best friend, had an intimacy we could feel through the lens. Yeehooi’s sister added a touch of tradition with a Chinese ritual, and everyone broke into cheers.

The saxophonist and the drummer lit up the night, and we photographed the guests and the newlyweds dancing wildly, a real crescendo to remember.
