As wedding photographers in Tuscany, we truly feel fortunate. Florence offers endless opportunities to capture beautiful couple portraits, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The city is full of charming viewpoints and is the perfect setting for engagement sessions, pre-wedding shoots, or marriage proposals.

With Martin and Anna, we decided to plan their pre-wedding photoshoot on the day of their welcome party. They chose Palazzo San Niccolò, just a few steps from the medieval city walls and on the road leading up to Piazzale Michelangelo. Its beautiful private garden features original early-1900s elements, including banana trees and a vintage dance floor.

We enjoyed a lovely walk through Florence with Anna and Martin before their guests arrived. We moved around the area of Porta San Niccolò and the Rampe del Poggi fountains. The light was perfect: the sun reflected on Anna’s rust-colored dress, and the couple’s joyful smiles allowed us to capture many candid moments before running back to the party, where a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere awaited us, along with a delicious aperitif and some truly amazing gelato.
