Elopements and Intimate Weddings in Florence and Tuscany

ELOPEMENT

Just the two of you, or your closest family, in a place that feels like yours.

From big celebrations to ceremonies with only a handful of people, we have been telling wedding stories together for more than a decade, one wedding at a time. We are Silvia and Tommaso, wedding photographers based in Florence.

Some couples choose a civil ceremony in Palazzo Vecchio with only their parents and witnesses, others a villa above Florence or in the countryside for a dinner with their closest family.

An intimate wedding is quieter, but no less intense: every glance and every gesture counts, and we are there to tell it, present yet discreet.

Simple in form, rich in feeling.

AN ELOPEMENT IN FLORENCE

One couple asked us to photograph their civil ceremony in the Sala Rossa of Palazzo Vecchio, with only their parents and witnesses, and a short walk through Florence for the portraits. About three hours, and a complete story.

Their celebration was small on purpose, a meaningful pause before a larger gathering near the groom’s hometown.

A VILLA FOR A FEW

Another couple chose Villa le Fontanelle, a small castle overlooking Florence, for a colourful elopement: a white piano, jazz and dinner under a wisteria pergola.

At Villa il Cerretino, an intimate wedding brought together only the closest family: getting ready with their parents, a moving ceremony, a first dance and portraits in the garden.

Before your elopement

Yes, we love them, from a civil ceremony in Palazzo Vecchio to a few hours with just the two of you.

Most couples book us around a year in advance, especially for weddings during the most popular months. However, if your date is closer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch: even a month in advance can work if we’re available.

Absolutely! We always recommend starting with a video call, even before you’ve made your final decision. For us, it’s important that we feel comfortable with each other and that there’s a genuine connection.

Rain can change the plans and logistics of a wedding, but it doesn’t mean your photos have to lose any of their magic. We make the most of the elegant interiors of a Tuscan villa, or step outside with an umbrella for a few romantic portraits in the rain.
