Alex and Erik’s wedding at Villa il Cerretino

We had the honor of capturing the destination wedding of Alex and Erik in Tuscany. They chose Villa il Cerretino, a beautiful venue in the hills near Florence, to celebrate their love.

Preparations and first look

Alex and Erik got ready in the same villa but in separate rooms, keeping the excitement and anticipation alive until their “first look”, one of the most touching moments of the day. For us, capturing the first meeting of a couple on their wedding day is always a unique experience: their expressions say more than a thousand words.

Ceremony and portraits in the garden

The ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by the idyllic landscape of the Tuscan countryside. Afterwards, guests enjoyed an elegant aperitif in the villa’s garden, and we took advantage of this quieter moment to photograph the couple.

This is one of our favorite times of the day: the couple shares intimate moments away from the crowd, and we capture the magic of their connection in natural and timeless photos.

From dinner to dancing

Dinner was held inside the villa, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Alex and Erik made their entrance with a dance that officially opened the evening. During dinner, heartfelt speeches from friends and family added to the emotion, with anecdotes and words of love for the couple.

One of the most entertaining moments was the cake cutting: the couple took part in its preparation, improvising as chefs in front of their guests. The evening went on with lively dancing, with Alex and Erik letting loose with their friends and creating memories to last a lifetime. These are the authentic moments we love to document.
