Wedding Photographers in Florence

FLORENCE

Palazzo Vecchio, the Ponte Vecchio, a villa on the hills: when couples write to us about a wedding in Florence, they almost always start from a place.

Florence is our city. We are Silvia and Tommaso, we live here and for more than a decade we have been telling wedding stories together, one wedding at a time.

Many of our couples come from abroad and bring their families to Italy for a whole weekend; others are Florentine and marry in their own city.

In the city we follow you from a civil ceremony in Palazzo Vecchio to a walk across the Ponte Vecchio; on the hills, from getting ready in a villa to dinner under the trees. On your wedding day we are present yet discreet, and we tell the day the way it really is.

A city that becomes part of your story.

GETTING MARRIED IN FLORENCE

In Florence you can say yes in the Sala Rossa of Palazzo Vecchio, as in this intimate wedding at Palazzo Vecchio, or in a church like Ognissanti or San Filippo Neri, then walk across the Ponte Vecchio with your guests and toast at sunset on the terrace of a Renaissance palazzo.

And when the celebration needs more space, the hills are only a few minutes away: the villas of Fiesole and Impruneta, and further south the Chianti, where dinner moves outside under the trees and the Duomo is still there, on the horizon.

YOUR DAY IN FLORENCE

After a ceremony in the centre we take a short walk through the city for the portraits: the Arno, the Ponte Vecchio, a quiet courtyard. Some couples arrive in a vintage car.

On the hills we wait for the golden hour, when the light softens over the city and the villas.

MORE THAN ONE DAY, AND THE RAIN

Many couples who come from abroad spend a few days in Florence, with a welcome party the night before or a pre wedding shoot in the city. We can follow those moments too, as we did for a two day Indian wedding.

Rain can change the plans of a wedding, but not the magic of the photos. We make the most of the elegant interiors of a villa or a palazzo, or step outside with an umbrella for a few portraits in the rain.

The venues we know best, where we have told more than one wedding.

Palazzo Gondi

A Renaissance palazzo in the heart of the city, for couples who want Florence all around them. The aperitif is on the rooftop terrace at sunset, dinner in the main hall. We have told an elegant September wedding here, and a fall wedding in October.

Villa il Garofalo

A villa in Fiesole, above Florence, with a frescoed hall that makes the difference on a rainy day: for one of our weddings everything moved indoors, from getting ready to the last dance. It is also where a two day Indian wedding came to its close.

Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte

In Impruneta, an Italian garden with statues, a long tree lined avenue and a terrace for the ceremony, then a frescoed hall for dancing. We have told an October wedding here, and another with a string quartet in the garden.

Villa il Cerretino

The villa we know best, in Poggio a Caiano: art rooms for the first look, a courtyard for the ceremony, a lawn and a pool. Five of our Stories are here, from a joyful summer wedding to a creative wedding with a Bauhaus heart.

We have also told weddings at Villa le Fontanelle, a small castle above the city, and at Villa di Lilliano, with its terrace overlooking Florence. In the Chianti, Villa Il Poggiale sets its long table under a tunnel of fairy lights, and Villa le Corti is made for dinner under the stars.

We’re here for
EVERY MOMENT that MATTERS.

Getting married in Florence

Most couples book us around a year in advance, especially for weddings during the most popular months. However, if your date is closer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch: even a month in advance can work if we’re available. The earlier you reach out, the better the chances of having us there to tell the story of your day.

Yes. We have told several civil ceremonies in the Sala Rossa, followed by a walk through the city for the portraits, like this intimate wedding in the Sala Rossa.

Rain can change the plans and logistics of a wedding, but it doesn’t mean your photos have to lose any of their magic. We’re used to adapting to different situations and finding beautiful alternatives, whether that means making the most of the elegant interiors of a Tuscan villa or stepping outside with an umbrella for a few romantic portraits in the rain.

We’ll work with the light, the surroundings and whatever the day brings, always looking for the moments and details that make your story unique.

Yes. We can follow the welcome dinner, the wedding day and the day after, like a brunch or a pool party. Tell us your programme and we prepare a quote.
