Taking wedding photos at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte is always a pleasure for us. Surrounded by green hills, olive groves and vineyards in the heart of the Chianti hills, the villa has an elegant Italian garden, panoramic views over the Tuscan countryside and refined interiors: a perfect balance between history and natural beauty.

Photographing the wedding of Taylor and David was truly wonderful. The light, the details and the relaxed atmosphere made every moment a joy to capture. We had met them before, so they were completely at ease during their couple photos, and their expressions came out natural and genuine. From the very first moments we felt that this wedding would unfold with a quiet and refined rhythm, giving us time to observe each meaningful glance and spontaneous smile.

A palette inspired by the Tuscan landscape

Every detail of Taylor and David’s wedding was a visual story waiting to be told. The design drew directly from the landscape around the villa: white, eucalyptus green and pale pink created a timeless palette that blended perfectly with the Italian garden. White for purity, eucalyptus for the freshness of the hills, pale pink for a soft romantic note.

The flowers were simple and timeless, perfect accents for photography. White roses, eucalyptus leaves and delicate gypsophila appeared throughout the day, from the ceremony arch to the bouquets and the reception centerpieces. We used them to frame intimate portraits and to bring out textures and colors.

A garden ceremony with a string quartet

The ceremony in the garden was accompanied by a string quartet, whose light and refined melodies gave the day an elegant soundtrack. We love capturing the subtle ways music shapes emotions: the glance of a bride, the smile of a guest, the quiet intimacy of the vows, without ever needing to intervene. When the music guided Taylor and David into their celebration, the garden came alive with a joyful yet sophisticated atmosphere.

Our approach is rooted in reportage: observing carefully, waiting for the right moment and capturing real connections rather than directing them. From the quiet moments before the ceremony to the candlelit outdoor dinner, everything flowed naturally.

Photographing at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte

Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte is a place that truly speaks to photographers. The historic architecture and the Italian garden with its statues are lovely backdrops for portraits and group photos, like Taylor with her bridesmaids, and the tree lined avenue gave us couple portraits at both weddings we photographed here. Ceremonies can be held outdoors, on the terrace or in the shade of century old trees, with views over the Tuscan countryside.

Inside, the frescoed hall and the rooms with painted terracotta floors are beautiful settings for getting ready and details, and at Pascal and Jamil’s autumn wedding the frescoed hall also hosted the dinner. After dark the garden becomes another stage: with candlelight or sparklers, evening photos feel warm and intimate.
