Gabriella and Rosario’s wedding at La Loggia, Piazzale Michelangelo

How we met Gabriella and Rosario

Gabriella had always dreamed of a romantic wedding in Florence and was planning the big day with Roberta from Alfresco Wedding. When Gabriella and Rosario came to Florence, they wanted an engagement shoot to have photos immersed in the wonders of the city. That’s how we met them, and we immediately felt a connection. They were comfortable in front of our cameras, and we captured their smiles and happiness perfectly.

For us, there is no better way to introduce ourselves than a couple photo shoot in the heart of the city, and we love welcoming international couples who choose Tuscany for their special day. After seeing the results of those few hours together, Gabriella and Rosario chose us as their wedding photographers.

Vows at the Church of Ognissanti

Gabriella got ready at The Westin Excelsior Florence with her sister and close family, while Rosario got ready at the Grand Hotel Baglioni with his groomsmen. Then, in a white lace gown and a bespoke tailored suit, they exchanged vows in English at the Church of San Salvatore in Ognissanti, accompanied by the solemn notes of an organist.

A vintage car through the historic center

After the ceremony, we followed the beautiful white vintage car they had chosen through the streets of the historic center. We photographed the newlyweds in front of Florence Cathedral, then by the beautiful Fountain of Neptune, and finally at the iconic Piazzale Michelangelo.

For us, these places are not just backdrops, they are part of the story. We always aim to blend the timeless beauty of Florence with the genuine emotions of the couple, creating images that feel natural, elegant and deeply personal.

Dinner and dancing at La Loggia

The reception at La Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo was a vision of ethereal beauty, adorned with lights, white flowers and Tuscan charm. As the sun set, casting a beautiful glow over the city, guests enjoyed the aperitif and the magical atmosphere with a breathtaking view of Florence.

Dinner was served under a beautiful canopy of lights, with Piazzale Michelangelo and the distant city lights twinkling in the background, adding to the romantic atmosphere.

The music for the dance party was performed by TastenSax. The DJ spun the tracks while the saxophonist accompanied every beat, creating an unforgettable synergy. With our cameras, we captured their performance and the fun and enthusiasm of the guests, who danced all night long.

Photographing Gabriella and Rosario’s wedding was not only beautiful but also fun, exciting and moving. We feel honored every time couples from around the world choose us to tell the story of their celebration, with heart, light and timeless elegance.

They said about us

Silvia and Tommaso of Punti di Bianco Photography were the perfect duo to capture our wedding! We stumbled upon them to take an engagement photoshoot while in Italy, and fell in love with their style of photography! We were so thankful that they were available the following September to capture our wedding! Between the two of them, they captured each decoration and detail of church and venue, candid shots of us, our guests, and were sure to take some structured photos to have the perfect lighting at specific locations. Somehow they managed to capture us in the busy center of Florence, but made us appear to be the only couple around! They definitely know their city!!! We asked to be sure to have a photo with each guest, since we had a small wedding party, and they made it happen! They were so polite, and were sure to ask us what we wanted in order to capture specific shots, which they executed effortlessly! Most of the time, we were unaware they were even there, hidden amongst the party, just capturing each photo at the perfect angle. They captured our love on film and we are so happy with our entire wedding album! We cannot say a bad thing about Punti di Bianco. We highly recommend their photography for your special day!
