A family photo shoot at Villa di Lilliano near Florence

Simona from Magnifico Tour organized a beautiful itinerary in Tuscany for Jenny, Mini Me Explorer, and her family. Along with a series of surprises, the tour included a family photo shoot at the Villa Medicea di Lilliano, a magnificent villa among the green hills of Florence, just 15 minutes by car from the city.

Playing in the garden of Villa di Lilliano

We arranged the photo shoot for Jenny and her children in the splendid garden of the villa and on the terrace, with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills.

Making sure the children were not intimidated by the camera and were eager to have fun was not difficult: they were already used to being photographed by their mother, who runs a splendid family travel blog. Running and playing, all three of them were truly relaxed, and we captured beautiful happy expressions. The video by Daniele Cribari helped make this family’s stay in Tuscany truly unforgettable.

A picnic, a cooking game and jazz on the terrace

Olivia Sodi, an event and wedding planner, designed the event: a carefully curated garden aperitif with a colorful picnic overlooking Florence, and a beautiful dinner table. Delizia Ricevimenti took care of a non traditional catering through their Delivera service.

The whole family rolled up their sleeves in a fun teamwork session, with boxes of ingredients and QR codes of recipes. They prepared and plated the dinner like true chefs. Dessert was enjoyed on the terrace to the jazz notes of the Old Florence Dixie Band.

The enthusiasm and the desire to play, the light, the beauty of the villa and the attention to detail created a beautiful set for this family photo shoot.

Villa di Lilliano is also a wonderful wedding venue: see Gilda and Niccolò’s wedding at Villa di Lilliano. Planning a wedding or a family shoot in Tuscany? See how we photograph weddings and check your date.
