Anna and Fabio’s wedding at Villa Bernardini, Lucca

Our photos of Anna and Fabio’s wedding tell the story of a dreamy summer celebration, refined and emotional, that felt suspended in time, somewhere between poetry and light. From the very first moment we arrived, we sensed that this day would be something truly special: intimate, heartfelt and deeply connected to the place and the people who filled it.

Inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Anna and Fabio imagined a celebration that reflected their love story and their wish to share a meaningful experience with their closest friends and family. In the countryside near Lucca, Villa Bernardini was the perfect backdrop: elegant yet welcoming, with an atmosphere that gently unfolds from one corner to the next, always offering new perspectives to observe and photograph.

A ceremony in a circle

The ceremony was designed as a powerful and symbolic moment. Guests were seated in a circle, embracing the couple at the center, with a closeness that was almost tangible.

From above, the geometry of the setting revealed its deepest meaning. Our drone images made that invisible embrace visible, showing Anna and Fabio surrounded by their loved ones in a perfect circle of affection. It was a way to tell the story from a different perspective, and one of those moments we feel privileged to witness and document.

White florals and candlelight

Neutral tones, delicate textures and lush all white florals enhanced the feeling of an enchanted garden, while the dress code subtly echoed the romantic inspiration of the day. Every detail felt refined yet deeply personal.

Dinner unfolded in an atmosphere of pure elegance. Two long imperial tables welcomed the guests, encouraging conversation and togetherness, while a palette of white and green mirrored the Tuscan landscape around them. As evening fell, crystal candelabras with twelve arms and countless candles wrapped the villa in a soft, golden glow. From the bread plates adorned with Swarovski to the carefully styled place cards and menus, every element added another layer to the story we were telling.

As the night went on, the villa seemed to breathe with the rhythm of the celebration, filled with laughter, candlelight and that quiet joy only truly meaningful weddings carry: a midsummer night’s dream come to life at Villa Bernardini.

Photographing at Villa Bernardini

Villa Bernardini offers a new perspective at every corner, and that is what we love about working here. With Rebecca and Sam we moved from the garden in front of the villa, where they said their vows, to the Verzura Theatre on the opposite side for the aperitif, then to the secret garden for dinner and to the lemon house for the dancing.

With Anna and Fabio our drone showed the shape of their ceremony from above, and at night the garden and the villa terrace glowed under candles and chandeliers.
