Wedding Photos at Villa di Liliano

Gilda and Niccolò have been part of our story for a long time

and having the honour of photographing their wedding was incredibly meaningful to us. Before their big day, we also had the chance to photograph their Florence engagement session, an experience that made their wedding day feel even more special to us as photographers and friends. A few months later, we met again at Villa di Liliano, in the Tuscan hills just outside Florence, to photograph the next chapter of their story. Their Wedding Photos at Villa di Liliano are a collection of moments, emotions and memories from a beautiful day surrounded by the people they love.

Gilda and Niccolò chose Villa di Liliano for an intimate and elegant celebration surrounded by their closest friends and family. The villa, with its historic architecture, beautiful gardens and spectacular view over Florence, was the perfect setting for their wedding day.

Both Gilda and Niccolò got ready at the villa, surrounded by the people closest to them. The morning was filled with all those small, quiet moments that make getting ready such an important part of the story: the anticipation, the laughter, the final touches and the excitement of knowing that the day was about to begin.

The ceremony

Their civil ceremony took place on the terrace overlooking Florence. With the city stretching out beneath them and the Tuscan countryside all around, Gilda and Niccolò exchanged their vows in a setting that felt both spectacular and deeply intimate.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued in the garden with an aperitivo. As the afternoon slowly turned into evening, the light became warmer and softer, creating a beautiful atmosphere for their guests to relax, talk and enjoy the beginning of the celebration.

For us, these moments are an essential part of telling a wedding story. As Tuscany wedding photographers, we love photographing the atmosphere around the main events just as much as the events themselves: a spontaneous laugh, a hug between friends, a glass raised in a toast, or the way the evening light falls across the garden.

Dinner was served in the garden at sunset, with the last warm light of the day surrounding the tables. It was one of those evenings that seemed to unfold naturally, without needing anything more than good food, good company and the beauty of the Tuscan landscape.

Knowing Gilda and Niccolò so well made photographing their wedding even more special for us. We could simply be there with them, observing and capturing the moments as they happened, from the excitement of getting ready to the intimacy of the ceremony and the joy of the evening celebration.

As wedding photographers in Italy, our aim is always to create photographs that feel authentic to the people and the place. We want the images to preserve not only how the day looked, but also how it felt: the atmosphere, the emotions, the people and all the little moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

Gilda and Niccolò’s wedding photos at Villa di Liliano was a beautiful continuation of a story that we feel lucky to have been part of for so long.
