Laura and Simone’s summer wedding at Tenuta Quadrifoglio

Laura and Simone are two very close friends, and we were very happy to photograph them on their most beautiful day: their summer wedding at Tenuta Quadrifoglio, in the Tuscan hills near San Gimignano and Volterra.

When Laura and Simone asked us to be their wedding photographers, we were very happy to accept: we are always excited to be part of such an important day in someone’s life. They chose Tenuta Quadrifoglio for everything: the getting ready, the ceremony and the party.

A day at Tenuta Quadrifoglio

We got there early to take a few shots of the preparations and to set up the photo booth before the ceremony. We already knew the venue, as we had photographed a previous wedding there, so we knew the best spots and angles for the newlyweds’ portraits. The photo booth was ready in no time.

Despite the excitement of the moments before the wedding, Laura and Simone felt at ease in front of our cameras right away. This is not always obvious, even when photographers and newlyweds are good friends.

From “Lonely Boy” to the last dance

The wedding started with the open air ceremony. It was a great crescendo: from the arrival of the groom, who came out of the villa to the sound of “Lonely Boy”, to the wild dances, perhaps courtesy of the initial cocktail… We put the cameras down late at night, but it felt as if we had just started shooting. The day flew by with plenty of laughter, fun and a few surprises.

A beautiful light, a magical venue, the great planning of Elizabeth from Original Tuscan Wedding and the lightheartedness of the newlyweds gave the photos the right touch of elegance and simplicity.
