K and E’s engagement photoshoot in Florence

We have photographed engagement sessions in Florence many times, and yet each one feels completely unique. The light shifts, the couple’s mood changes, and everyone has their own way of feeling at ease, or a little shy in front of the camera. Every couple moves at their own rhythm, and that rhythm is what makes each photoshoot truly special.

K and E chose to have their engagement photoshoot in Florence with us, even though another photographer will capture their wedding in Tuscany. Florence has that effect: it draws you in with its quiet charm, a small jewel to be experienced slowly, corner by corner.

Why Piazzale Michelangelo

Piazzale Michelangelo is one of the most iconic places in the city, an open terrace suspended above Florence, where the dome of the Cathedral feels close enough to touch. We know it is one of the most loved spots for engagement photos, so we suggested it to K and E, and they fell in love with it.

They are a radiant couple, elegant, kind and deeply in love. Photographing them felt effortless. From the very first moments they were completely at ease, finding their own pace and their own way of being in front of the camera.
